Roulette Bets: Column Bet Column Bet is a bet on twelve numbers. If any of the twelve numbers hit, you win. There are three different ways to make a Column bet. The Column bet pays 2 to 1. Roulette Bets: Corner Bet You can place your bet on four numbers in Corner Bet. You have to place your chips on the line at the junction of four numbers. There are 22 different Corner bets you can make. The Corner bet pays 8 to 1. Roulette Bets: Five-Number Line Bet You bet on five numbers in Five-Number Line Bet. You have to place your chips on the bottom of the line that separates the 0 and 1. You win if any of the five numbers hit. There is only one Five-number bet you can make. Roulette Bets: Red or Black A bet on eighteen numbers. You have to place your chips on the outside box marked with Red or Black symbol. This box represents all red or black numbers on the table. Straight Bet pays 1:35. Split Bet. Split Bet is also known as a Two Number bet. Split Bet is placed on any line that divides two adjacent numbers. Split Bet is a bet that either of those two numbers will come up. Street Bet. Street Bet is also known as a Row bet. Square Bet. Square Bet is also known as a Corner bet. Square Bet is a bet that one of these four numbers will come up. Square Bet pays 1:8. Line Bet. Line Bet is placed on the outside of the line that splits two rows of numbers. Line Bet covers all six numbers. Line Bet is a bet that one of these six numbers will come up. Line Bet pays 1:5. Column Bet. Note: If 0 comes up, the Column bet loses. Dozen Bet. Dozen Bet is placed on the boxes marked 1st 12, 2nd 12 and 3rd 12. In Dozen Bet you bet on the numbers 1 to 12, 13 to 24 or 25 to 36. Dozen Bet pays 1:2. Note: If 0 comes up, the Dozen bet loses. European Roulette Rules There are many different ways to place roulette bets in European Roulette. Each bet has a different distribution. Straight Up  In Straight Up you can bet on any number, including 0. You have to place a chip on the center of a number. Split Bet In Split Bet you can bet on two numbers. The maximum bet for Split Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by two. Street Bet In Street Bet you bet on a row of three numbers. Corner Bet In Corner Bet you can bet on four numbers. Place chips at the corner where the four numbers meet. The maximum bet for Corner Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by four. Four Bet  Four Bet allows you to bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3. You have to place your chip on the boundary line, where the line between 0 and the first row intersects it. The maximum bet for Four Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by four. Line Bet In Line Bet you can bet on two street bets. Line Bet allows you to bet on six different numbers in two rows of three numbers. The maximum bet for Line Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by six. You can place bets for all numbers in a column. You have to place chip(s) in one of the boxes. If any of the numbers in the selected column is hit you get paid 2:1. The maximum bet for Column Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by ten. Place your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12", "2nd 12", or "3rd 12". If one of your 12 numbers is hit, you are paid 2:1. If 0 is hit 0 you lose. The maximum bet for Dozen Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by ten. Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets You place bets on red or black, even or odd, low or high numbers. You win even money (1 to 1) on all of these bets. 0 and 00 are losing numbers. The maximum bet for Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by 20. Minimum table bet There is a minimum table bet. All your bets added together (your total bet), must equal at least the minimum value indicated on the table (see the Min sign). You bet on all the numbers on almost a half of the Roulette wheel, including the zero. The chips are placed as follows: one split bet on each of the numbers 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35, two chips on the triplet ("street bet") 0-2-3 and two chips on 25-29 ("corner bet"). This is called the Tier arc on the Roulette board. One chip goes on each of the following splits: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36. So the payout is 12:6 or 2:1. Orphans – You bet on numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31, 9. You give five chips to the dealer, which are placed as follows: one straight on the number 1 and one split bet on every one of the numbers 6/9, 14/17, 17/ 20, 31/34. This bet is played with five chips. For example, "8 and the neighbors" means that the player places a bet on five consecutive numbers 11-30-8-23-10 (8 is in the middle). The true payout is 35 + 1 - 5 = 31 chips. Finals – You bet on all of the numbers that have the same last number. You need four chips, one straight bet on each number.
