European Roulette Rules There are many different ways to place roulette bets in European Roulette. Each bet has a different distribution. Straight Up  In Straight Up you can bet on any number, including 0. You have to place a chip on the line that divides the two numbers. Street Bet In Street Bet you bet on a row of three numbers. A row of three numbers is called a street. Place a chip on the boundary line of the roulette table, at the end of the corresponding row. The maximum bet Street Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by three. Corner Bet In Corner Bet you can bet on four numbers. Four Bet  Four Bet allows you to bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3. Line Bet allows you to bet on six different numbers in two rows of three numbers. You place your chip on the boundary line of the roulette table where the line dividing the two rows intersects it. The maximum bet for Line Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by six. Column Bet There are three boxes labelled "2 to 1" at the bottom of each column of numbers. You have to place chip(s) in one of the boxes. If any of the numbers in the selected column is hit you get paid 2:1. If 0 is hit you lose your money. The maximum bet for Column Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by ten. Dozen Bet Dozen Bet allows you to bet on a group of twelve numbers. Place your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12", "2nd 12", or "3rd 12". If one of your 12 numbers is hit, you are paid 2:1. If 0 is hit 0 you lose. The maximum bet for Dozen Bet is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by ten. Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets You place bets on red or black, even or odd, low or high numbers. You can place a bet in one of the boxes along the long side of the table that covers half of the numbers on the roulette table (excluding 0). Each box covers 18 numbers. You win even money (1 to 1) on all of these bets. The maximum bet for Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by 20. You select a chip and then click on the corresponding button. You bet on all the numbers on almost a half of the Roulette wheel, including the zero. All you need is nine chips of your selected value. The chips are placed as follows: one split bet on each of the numbers 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35, two chips on the triplet ("street bet") 0-2-3 and two chips on 25-29 ("corner bet"). The true profit on this bet is: 17 + 1 - 6 = 12 chips. Orphans – You bet on numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31, 9. This is called the Orphans arc on the Roulette board. You give five chips to the dealer, which are placed as follows: one straight on the number 1 and one split bet on every one of the numbers 6/9, 14/17, 17/ 20, 31/34. The true payout is 35 + 1 - 5 = 31 chips. Finals – You bet on all of the numbers that have the same last number. For example, "final 5" means a bet on the numbers 5, 15, 25, 35. Chips of different color allow the dealer to differentiate bets and match them to the right players. The chips are worthless at the other tables in the same casino. Roulette does not move at a quick pace. When you are at the point that you want to place your bet, do not be concerned about someone else having already taken your bet. Chips can share bets because they are of differenr color. Roulette rules give you plenty of time to set your bet. Once the ball has found its slot, the dealer will call out the winning number and place a marker on that number's spot on the layout.
